Developed for Cooper Surgical, a leading manufacturer of medical instruments and disposables for Ob/Gyns, the Endosee Advance features a truly innovative way to perform diagnostic office hysteroscopy in any room, at any site. It’s is an all-in-one, handheld, portable/ cordless direct visualization system for diagnostic and therapeutic in-office procedures. Simple and quick to set up, the system includes a bright 5-inch touch screen display module and a single-use, disposable, cannula with dual-position grip and camera/ light source at the distal end.

A redesign of an older instrument, the main goal of the project was to increase value by adding features and improving the user experience (including UI) for physicians and clinicians. To allow for maximum flexibility, ION designed the system so that the display module could either mount directly onto the cannula or onto an auxiliary arm. The canula handle features a dual-position grip, either in-line or at 90 degrees. Buttons for delivering saline are positioned on either side of the cannula for right or left-handed users.
