Developed for Axsys Technologies, a leader in high performance optical and motion control systems, the Cadet 75 is a high performance hand-held thermal imager that offers an optional visible channel for recording of events for legal evidence, along with live audio. The Cadet75 has large camera features such as: 2x electronic zoom, the ability to be remotely controlled, a 640 x 480 highlight display, and an optional on-board image capture capability.

ION’s primary challenge was to integrate the complex, high-performance optics and electronics into a compact housing format that is intuitive to use. The camera housing is design and engineered for easy viewing at different angles, to be lightweight, and features a simple and intuitive user interface. The contoured body, with soft-touch surfaces and rounded edges, makes for comfortable gripping.
