The Delmhorst Navigator Series Moisture Meters allow professionals in a variety of industries to quickly and accurately measure the moisture content of porous materials. Uses vary widely including measuring moisture levels in flooded drywall, fresh concrete, drying wood, paper pulp, and hay bales.
Industry leader Delmhorst Instrument Co. partnered with ION Design to design the new Navigator Series, which consolidates four different body styles and about a dozen SKUs into a single shared platform. The Navigator line shares a basic housing body and allows for industry-specific customization of various measurement probe configurations. Besides hardware customization, each SKU’s software is unique to the industries served. By combining multiple products into a single platform, Delmhorst was able to save on the development, manufacturing, and inventory costs, as well as create a strong foundation for future customization and product growth.
